Christopher M.T. Thompson has been working in the piping design industry for over ten years. Christopher started their career at Wood in March 2012 as a Senior Piping Designer. In this role, they were responsible for creating 3D piping models and construction isometric drawings. Christopher also led piping design teams on various projects and helped with piping and mechanical design estimates for various projects in the industry.

In September 2021, they left Wood to join Jacobs as a Director. In this role, they are responsible for standardizing company practices for proprietary vessel design, including exchangers, boilers and reactors. Christopher has also worked on a number of major projects, including lead piping designer for a Kern River meter station in West Valley, Utah and checker for construction isometrics on Crude Unit and Sour Water Stripper projects for CHS refinery in Laurel Montana.

Christopher M.T. Thompson has an AAS in Computer Aided Drafting from ITT Technical Institute-Murray.
