Douglas York

Douglas York is a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer at Jacobs since December 2025, following a five-year tenure as an Associate Engineer at Placer County Water Agency, where responsibilities included project and construction management as well as preparation of water system planning and contracts. Prior experience includes contributing to asset prioritization frameworks and pipeline assessments as an Associate Engineer for the City and County of San Francisco, and early engineering roles with the City of San José and RANA focused on process engineering and bid process improvements. An undergraduate researcher at UCSB, Douglas York developed advanced analytical scripts and precision designs. Education includes a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Riverside and UCSB, and an MS in Civil Engineering from San José State University.
