Ian Knight is a Senior Associate Director at Jacobs and serves as the technical lead for detailed design projects in the North West. With 30 years of experience in the water industry, Ian has specialized in flood risk management, river engineering, and reservoir projects. Previously, Ian held positions as Chief Engineer at Black & Veatch and Principal Engineer at Atkins, leading significant projects such as a flood alleviation scheme in Mytholmroyd. Ian is also a Project Verifier and an appointed member of the Panel of Supervising Engineers under the Reservoirs Act 1975, with a commitment to volunteer work for the local community.
