Joe Schlaepfer

Joe Schlaepfer is a seasoned professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Projects for Buildings and Infrastructure Americas at Jacobs since December 2017. In this role, Joe oversees portfolio management in various sectors including transportation, environmental, and water resources, with a focus on project delivery and quality. Previously, Joe led a team of 22 engineers at Jacobs, developing water and wastewater treatment designs, and managed a talent team of 62 at CH2M across multiple states, delivering engineering services for infrastructure projects. Joe's extensive background also includes positions such as Engineering/Operations Manager and Senior Project Manager at CH2M HILL, and experiences in the U.S. Air Force, Level 3 Communications, and Fluor Daniel. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver.
