Mohammad Shabbir Hassan

Mohammad Shabbir Hassan is an experienced civil and structural engineering professional with a strong background in infrastructure operations and management. Currently serving as Vice President - Director of Operations at Jacobs Engineering since March 2015, Mohammad oversees the Chicago Infrastructure and Civil performance unit, focusing on planning, design, construction observation, and management across various sectors including transit, highways, and telecommunications. Prior to this role, Mohammad held the position of Vice President at URS Corporation from February 1989 to January 2015, managing operations for the infrastructure business sector in Illinois. Earlier career experience includes working as a Structural Engineer at Homer L. Chastain & Associates and as a Bridge Engineer at Saudi Consulting Services. Mohammad holds a Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Buffalo and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from N.E.D. University of Engineering and Technology.
