Oliver Schick has a diverse background in various industries. Oliver most recently worked at Jacobsen Construction as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in the self-performing concrete team and was responsible for the construction of the Astra Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Utah. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at ARCO Design/Build, where they successfully managed construction projects from the design phase to completion with minimal punch list items and increased profits. Oliver began their career as a Quality Control Technician at Advanced Materials Processing, where they played a key role in implementing cost-saving measures by creating a competitive technology that led to significant vendor price reductions.

Oliver Schick began their education in 2015 at Weber State University, where they pursued pre-engineering. Oliver remained there until 2018, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree during this period. Oliver then joined the University of Utah John and Marcia Price College of Engineering in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Oliver completed their studies at the institution in 2022.
