Oliver Schick

Oliver Schick has a diverse background in various industries. Oliver most recently worked at Jacobsen Construction as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in the self-performing concrete team and was responsible for the construction of the Astra Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Utah. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager at ARCO Design/Build, where they successfully managed construction projects from the design phase to completion with minimal punch list items and increased profits. Oliver also worked as a Construction Project Manager Intern during their time at ARCO Design/Build.

Schick gained experience as a Site Civil Intern at Perigee Consulting, where they created site plans and sheet sets using Civil 3D, working closely with principals on projects that had UDOT (Utah Department of Transportation) requirements. Oliver also reviewed and corrected plans created by CAD designers. Before that, they founded and operated their own landscaping company, Mi Casa, Su Casa Lawn Care, where they managed employees and generated over $10,000 in monthly revenue during peak seasons.

Additionally, Schick worked as a Site Civil Intern at FOCUS Engineering & Surveying, where they worked on projects with UDOT components and created sheet sets and plans using Civil 3D. Oliver began their career as a Quality Control Technician at Advanced Materials Processing, where they played a key role in implementing cost-saving measures by creating a competitive technology that led to significant vendor price reductions.

Throughout their work experience, Schick has demonstrated strong project management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using state-of-the-art technologies.

Oliver Schick began their education in 2015 at Weber State University, where they pursued pre-engineering. Oliver remained there until 2018, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree during this period. Oliver then joined the University of Utah John and Marcia Price College of Engineering in 2019 to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Oliver completed their studies at the institution in 2022.
