Sara Hood

Sara Hood has extensive experience in public relations, marketing, and business development. Sara is currently working as the Vice President and Director of Public Relations at Jacobson Rost since September 2021. Prior to this, they were the Founder and President of Kiku Communications from July 2019 to September 2021. Sara also served as the Vice President and Public Relations/Social Media Director at Cramer-Krasselt from July 2016 to July 2019. Sara has been actively involved in professional associations, including serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Past President of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) from January 2014 to December 2018. Sara has also held roles such as Public Relations Supervisor at Nelson Schmidt, Inc. from August 2014 to July 2016, Public Relations Account Supervisor at Stir, LLC from August 2012 to August 2014, and Marketing & Business Development Manager at the American Red Cross from August 2007 to July 2012. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Public Relations Account Executive at Bader Rutter & Associates from July 2005 to August 2007 and as a Public Relations Coordinator at Mueller Communications, LLC from May 2004 to July 2005.

Sara Hood received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
