Maira Soto

Maira Soto is a highly experienced scientist in the fields of research and translational medicine, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Jade Biosciences since October 2024. Previously, Maira held the position of Senior Scientist in Translational Medicine at Pyxis Oncology and worked as a Scientific Consultant at Apexigen. Maira's career at Apexigen also included roles as Senior Scientist and Scientist II. Prior to that, Maira worked as a Senior Scientist at Kodiak Sciences and spent three years at the University of Arizona as an Assistant Scientific Investigator and Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Maira began a professional career at Perseid Therapeutics as a Process Development Associate. Maira holds a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Therapeutics and a Master of Science in Drug Development from the University of Southern California, as well as a Master of Science in Molecular Biology from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from California State University, Los Angeles.
