Swaminathan Raman

Swaminathan Raman has a diverse range of work experience. Swaminathan started their career as a Manufacturing Intern at Shanmuga Precision Forging in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Project Intern at Ashok Leyland and later as a Project Trainee at Combat Vehicle Research & Development Establishment, where they developed a prototype for a gear pump. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Data Analyst at LatentView Analytics, where they built optimization and forecasting models and created reports for senior management. In 2020, they had a summer internship at LLamasoft, Inc., where they created a supply chain model and deployed it on their AI platform. Currently, Swaminathan is working as a Data Scientist at Jade Business Services (JBS).

Swaminathan Raman pursued their education with a focus on engineering and data analytics. From 2013 to 2017, they attended Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy, where they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering. In 2019, they enrolled at the University of Michigan, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering with a specialization in Data Analytics and Applied Statistics. During their time at the University of Michigan, they also completed a Graduate Data Science Certificate. In 2022, Swaminathan obtained certifications as a Core Designer and ML Practitioner from Dataiku.
