Joana Soares MacHado

Joana Soares Machado is an experienced professional with a background in engineering and project management, currently serving as the New Technologies Programme Manager and EDS Project Lead at JLR since May 2022. Prior to this role, Joana held various positions at Yazaki Europe from June 2017 to April 2022, including Project Leader and Engineering Coordinator, focusing on FORD North America and BU projects, as well as engineering change management. Joana also gained experience as a Project Manager for the Mercedes-Benz business unit in Portugal, and worked as a Trainee Production Engineer at Kirchhoff Automotive Portugal, and a Maintenance Trainee at Grupo Salvador Caetano. Joana's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Integrated Mechanical Engineering and Production Management from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, supplemented by a year at the University of Zilina.
