Marc Francis Hidalgo is a Senior Data Science Engineer at JLR, focusing on optimizing Li-ion battery manufacturing through advanced data analysis techniques. Previously, as a Research Scientist at Atmonia, Marc utilized design of experiments (DoE) and machine learning (ML) to achieve significant cost savings in catalysis environments. A former Research Fellow at WMG, University of Warwick, Marc published eight papers on optimizing battery manufacturing using DoE and ML. Experience as a Project Associate at ACEN included predictive cost modeling for grid-based energy storage systems and leadership roles in renewable energy projects. Marc holds a PhD and a Professional Science Masters in Materials Science and Engineering from Binghamton University, along with dual Bachelor's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering and Chemistry from Ateneo de Manila University. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, Marc combines extensive research and engineering expertise in the field of electrochemistry and data science.
