Mark Sims

Mark Sims is a finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting, currently serving as the Propulsion Finance Business Partner at JLR since February 2014. In this role, Mark manages engineering costs for new Propulsion unit programmes, providing critical cost status updates and driving down prototype expenditures. Mark has held various leadership positions within JLR, including Finance Manager and Team Leader roles, successfully leading teams in fixed assets and general accounting. Prior to JLR, Mark worked as an Audit Executive at Grant Thornton UK LLP and as an Audit Senior at Dains LLP, specializing in statutory audits. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Warwick.
