Cassie Yu

Cassie Yu is a quantitative researcher currently employed at Jain Global LLC since March 2024. Previously, Cassie held the position of research engineer at Schonfeld from February 2022 to September 2023 and completed a summer quant development internship at Virtu Financial in June 2021. Early career experience includes serving as a research assistant focused on reinforcement learning at the University of California, San Diego's Rady School of Management and tutoring in computer science at the Jacobs School of Engineering. Cassie's finance industry exposure also includes a summer analyst role at BlackRock in 2019. Academic credentials comprise a Master's degree in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics-Computer Science and Economics from UC San Diego.
