Bastiaan Mohrmann

Bastiaan Mohrmann is an experienced professional in sustainable rural development, currently serving as the owner and director of RuFus - Rural Futures GmbH since April 2019. As a lead project coordinator at Wageningen University & Research since June 2022, Mohrmann is involved in the HIROS project, focusing on the environmental impacts of agriculture in the Hindon basin. Additionally, Mohrmann is an independent board member at Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. and a consultant for the Asian Development Bank, working on innovative water management solutions. Mohrmann has also held significant roles in the 2030 Water Resources Group and the International Finance Corporation, where expertise in water sustainability and resources management has been developed. Academic qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD and an MSc in Land and Water Management from Wageningen University & Research.
