David Murphy

David Murphy has extensive experience in the toy design industry. David began their career in 1998 as a Designer at Discovery Concepts, Inc, where they worked until 2001. From 1999 to 2003, they worked as a Toy Design at Kidstuff. In 2005, they joined Jakks Pacific as a Sr Design Director, where they worked on various projects and teams, including the Boys Entertainment Team, Girls Toys, Gifts & Crafts / Activities, and Stationery Teams. David held this position until 2018 when they became the Director of Product at Redwood Ventures. In 2021, they returned to Jakks Pacific as the Sr Director of Design.

David Murphy has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Illustration from the Kansas City Art Institute.
