Carlos Souza

Carlos Souza has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Carlos started their career as a Professional Intern, working as a Web Developer at SAAE - Autonomous Water and Sewage Service. During this time, they played a crucial role in developing the SIC-SOMEX software, utilizing CodeIgniter/PHP, MySQL RDBMS, and ExtJS.

After completing their internship, Carlos joined GHNET - Guanhães Internet as a Network Administrator. Here, they gained expertise in configuring Linux, Windows, and Unix servers, network equipment (Mikrotik and Ubiquiti), network design and infrastructure, and network and system security. Carlos also contributed to the analysis and development of Web systems.

Moving forward, Carlos took on the role of a Professor at Colminas, where they shared their knowledge and expertise with students.

In 2017, Carlos joined Conceito - Tecnologia & Assessoria. Carlos began as a Software Developer and eventually became a Software Manager. During their tenure, they worked on building complex web solutions for cities and public organizations. Carlos utilized Laravel and MariaDB for these projects and also developed real-time systems/microservices using NodeJS/Express/Knex and JWT authentication. Additionally, they incorporated Java solutions for report building.

Most recently, in 2021, Carlos joined Jalasoft as a Staff Software Developer. Their main responsibilities include working with PHP (Symfony Framework), RDBMS (Postgres/MySQL), ElasticSearch, and Vue.js.

Overall, Carlos Souza has a strong background in web development, software management, network administration, and teaching.

Carlos Souza completed their Bachelor's degree in Technology in Information Technology/Information Systems at IFMG Campus São João Evangelista in 2014. Carlos also obtained additional certifications, including the "Complete Elasticsearch Masterclass with Logstash and Kibana" from Udemy in January 2022, "Aprendendo Docker" from Udemy in December 2021, and the "Certificate of Language Ability - B2 Level" from Emmersion in January 2022.
