Matt Pillar

Matt Pillar has extensive work experience in various leadership roles and industries. Matt served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Head of Corporate Strategy at Jam City since 2014. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Managing Director of Fire Dragon Enterprises, where they led consulting engagements with prominent organizations such as Johnson & Johnson's BabyCenter and Harvard Business School. Matt also co-created and facilitated an executive education program at the Harvard Center in Shanghai. Matt was the Chairman of the Customer Advisory Board at data.ai from 2020 to 2021. Additionally, they were a Senior Fellow and Adjunct Faculty at Claremont Graduate University's Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management from 2014 to 2019. Matt co-founded and served as the Managing Partner of Catalytic Capital from 2003 to 2018. Prior to that, they held positions at The Walt Disney Company, Vulcan Inc., Pacific Century Group, and STAR TV.

Matt Pillar completed a Study Abroad Program at Nanjing University in 1988. Matt then earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in East Asian Studies from Brown University in 1990. Later, they pursued a Master in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, graduating in 2003.
