Jules Testard

Jules Testard has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. They started their career as a Research Assistant at École Normale Supérieure de Cachan, where they worked on the Webdam project. They then worked as a Summer Technology Analyst at Morgan Stanley before joining Inria as a Research Assistant in the Dahu Team. Jules also interned at Yelp and Informatica, gaining experience in software engineering. They pursued their Ph.D. at UC San Diego, working on an SQL++ query processor as part of the FORWARD project. During this time, Jules completed a Master's Degree and took a leave of absence. Afterward, Jules worked at Amazon Web Services as a Software Engineer, specifically on the Glue team. They later joined Docker, Inc as a Software Engineer and then became a Senior Software Engineer at MadHive. Currently, they fill the role of Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Piepacker.

Jules Testard completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at Lycee International Francais from 2005 to 2009. This was followed by a B.Sc Honours degree in Computer Science at McGill University, which they earned from 2009 to 2013. Jules then pursued higher education at UC San Diego, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from 2013 to 2015.
