John Harris

With nearly 20 years of experience working in health insurance/employee benefits and over 30 years in various management roles, John Harris serves as Scott’s Benefits Practice Lead. In this role, he leads ongoing strategy development and service implementation for Scott’s Benefit Services practice and holds ultimate accountability for the Scott team’s exceptional service delivery.

Prior to joining Scott, John worked for Kaiser Permanente in Seattle, Washington, as Vice President and Executive Director of the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington. His experience also includes leadership roles with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and UnitedHealth Group as well as significant exposure to the technology and retail sectors. John is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
