James Blake

James Blake is an experienced landscape architect and business leader with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Chairman of Oasis Land Asset Management Ltd since January 2009, Blake focuses on the sustainable management of public open spaces. As Founder and Chairman of James Blake Associates Ltd, established in November 1988, Blake emphasizes a holistic approach to landscape design. Previous leadership roles include Chairman at Blake Bryson Publishing Ltd until January 2023 and BJB Innovations Ltd until January 2020. Early career experience includes positions as Landscape Architect for the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and Assistant Landscape Architect for the London Borough of Lewisham. James Blake holds a BA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture from Manchester Metropolitan University and has a strong educational foundation from Steynning Grammar School.
