Patrick O. Teague, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for James City County since April 2016, overseeing all aspects of Human Resources including classification and compensation, employee relations, training, and recruitment. Previously, Patrick held the position of Human Resources Manager at the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation from August 2009 to April 2016, managing programs related to benefits, talent acquisition, and employee engagement. Additional experience includes roles as a Human Resource Analyst and Division Administrator at PERS and as a Region Manager at the Oregon Department of Justice, where Patrick led significant staffing and operational improvements. Patrick holds a Certificate in Strategic Marketing from Willamette University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Portland State University.
