Rick Stewart

Rick Stewart currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Department of General Services for James City County since March 2024. Prior to this role, Rick was the Director of General Services for New Kent County from July 2020 to November 2023. Previous positions include Director of Engineering at Great Wolf Lodge from December 2012 to June 2020, and similar roles at Crestline Hotels & Resorts Inc., where Rick managed engineering for the Newport News Marriott at City Center, and Mardeck Ltd. as Corporate Director of Engineering overseeing maintenance departments across multiple hotels. Rick began their career as Maintenance Director for Fairfield Resorts, managing maintenance for over 1,000 timeshare units. Rick's educational background includes studies at Lafayette.
