Dr. Samantha J. Horseman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Dr. Samantha J. currently serves as the Chairperson of the Queensland AI Advisory Committee and is a member of the Queensland AI Hub Advisory Committee. Additionally, they hold the position of Director in Cairns at the Queensland AI Hub.

Prior to their current role, Dr. Horseman was the Lead of the JCU Founders-in-Residence Portfolio at James Cook University. Dr. Samantha J. also worked as an Innovation Facilitator in the JCU Innovation Team, focusing on deep tech, entrepreneurship, and lab to market strategies.

Dr. Horseman has been involved in advisory roles, such as being a part of the Advisory Board at Earth Guardians.

Dr. Samantha J. has extensive experience at Saudi Aramco and its subsidiary, the Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Center (Wa'ed). At Wa'ed, they held positions in Venture Growth and Portfolio Management, as well as Innovation Ecosystem development and leadership.

Their career at Aramco included roles in Human Energy Management, preventive medicine, clinical education, and launching a new physical therapy clinic.

Dr. Horseman began their career as a Physiotherapist and Work Capacity Evaluator at the Rehabilitation Institute of Wellington in New Zealand.

Dr. Samantha J.
