Antonio Scarlato

Tony oversees the real estate default practice for Albertelli Law Partners Ohio, including foreclosures, evictions, and related real estate litigation. Tony has extensive experience in the areas of real estate default, legal compliance and real estate litigation. He helped lead a successful appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court in 2012, obtaining a unanimous decision in the matter of PHH Mortgage Corp. v. Prater, 133 Ohio St. 3d 91. Tony regularly counsels clients on issues affecting the mortgage default industry and has spoken as a panelist at several mortgage service industry conferences. Prior to joining the Firm, Tony was a partner in private practice with Felty and Lembright Co., L.P.A., where he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s real estate default practice. Tony graduated from the University of Toledo and is licensed to practice law in Ohio. His professional affiliations include membership in the American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN), the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. He is also a graduate of the Latz Negotiating Institute.
