Fred Maysonet

VP, Sales at James Edward & Companies

Efrain “Fred “Maysonet joined Matador Distributing as a Hispanic Key Account Manager in July 2006. Over the next 16 years, his roles and responsibilities grew not only with Matador, but expanded to the other companies within the James Edward and Companies Organization.

In July 2011, he relocated to Austin, Texas to serve as the Chaparral Sales Manager. Then in July 2015, he moved to McAllen, TX to lead a new territory as the General Manager for Chaparral South. Following that role, Fred became the General Manager for the JECO Texas region which covered both the Chaparral and Viva Distributing regions. In 2022, Fred became the Vice President of Sales for James Edward and Companies.

As the VP of Sales, his responsibilities include coaching and developing a highly capable management team, providing direction, overseeing the management of all Sales, building strong relationships with top customers, and upholding the JECO and RBNA standards and processes across all territories within JECO.

Fred is a native of Bayamon, Puerto Rico. He grew up in Orlando, Florida before joining the United States Army in 1996 where he served in Operation Desert Shield while stationed at Ft. Stewart. After his service, he attended Georgia Sothern University and began his retail career as an Operational Manager T-Mobile.
