Pete Heringer

Pete Heringer currently serves as the Plant Design and Process Engineering Manager at James Hardie Building Products since April 2014, where responsibilities include leading value engineering efforts for raw material storage and processing systems, as well as designing and procuring manufacturing systems for greenfield expansions. Prior to this role, Pete was the Manager of the Product Performance Team at JH Research, LLC, where a proprietary manufacturing platform was developed. Significant earlier experience at James Hardie included managing new manufacturing technology initiatives and overseeing quality management and process development efforts. Pete began his career at Boise Cascade as a Capital Project Engineer, optimizing large capital projects, and also served in the U.S. Navy as a Damage Control Assistant after graduating from the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ocean Engineering.
