Tim Beastrom

Tim Beastrom serves as the Chief Legal Counsel at James Hardie since January 2023. Prior to this role, Tim held significant legal positions at Ecolab Inc. from April 2018 to January 2023 as Associate General Counsel, Chief Securities Counsel, and Assistant Secretary, focusing on securities law and corporate governance. Tim's experience also includes serving as VP & Deputy General Counsel at The Sherwin-Williams Company from June 2017 to March 2018, and a long tenure at Valspar from 1996 to May 2017 as Deputy General Counsel, specializing in M&A, securities law, and commercial law, including international aspects. Tim earned a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Management from Gustavus Adolphus College.
