James Irwin Charter Schools
Angie Guerrero is a 30-year civil servant whose family has been proudly connected to James Irwin Charter Schools since 2001. She currently works in the Commander’s Action Group at HQ AFSPC, Peterson AFB. Mrs. Guerrero has been married to Andrew, a retired Army First Sergeant, for 36 years. They have two daughters, a son, and a daughter-in-law who are all proud JICHS Alum. Angie has extensive Board experience with the former Ramstein and Pikes Peak Chapters of the International Association of Administrative Professionals. She is committed to fostering excellence, a strong work ethic and advocacy for one of the most important tenets of parenthood and citizenship – a quality education for every child and family who chooses it.

James Irwin Charter Schools is a network of five charter schools in Colorado Springs, Colorado named after the late Apollo 15 Astronaut James Benson Irwin. Founded in 2000, it has 3 campuses and nearly 2,000 students. The mission of James Irwin Charter Schools is to help guide students in the development of their character and academic potential through academically rigorous, content-rich educational programs.
