Adam S. Dohrenwend

Adam S. Dohrenwend is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Geography at James Madison University’s School of Integrated Sciences, starting in August 2024. Prior to this position, Adam was a Graduate Instructor at Louisiana State University, where responsibilities included teaching various undergraduate geography courses. Adam has also held roles such as House Director at Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity, Study Abroad Assistant Program Director at SUNY Geneseo, and Graduate Instructor at The University of Kansas. Earlier experience includes management at Buy Rite Kosher Supermarket and a range of educational and administrative roles at SUNY Geneseo. Adam holds a PhD in Geography from Louisiana State University, a Master's degree from The University of Kansas, and a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Geneseo, supplemented by a semester exchange at the University of Groningen.
