Jonathan Stewart

Jonathan Stewart is an accomplished professional in higher education and the performing arts, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Finance, IT, and Assessment within Student Affairs at James Madison University since September 2011. In this role, Jonathan oversees the budget for the School of Theatre and Dance and instructs theatre management courses, while also coordinating audience development efforts and managing publicity for experimental theatre productions. His previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Resident Director at Seton Hill University, where Jonathan managed resident assistants and supported student well-being, and working as a Mailroom Clerk at Creative Artists Agency. Jonathan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Strategic Leadership from James Madison University, an M.B.A. in Business/Entrepreneurship from Seton Hill University, and a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Seton Hill University.
