Lori Bennett

Lori Bennett, RDN, serves as a Graduate Student Assistant at James Madison University since September 2021. As the Founder of In the Kitchen with Nutrition since August 2002, Lori has established a platform focused on nutrition education. Prior experience includes a role as a Marketing and Public Relations Specialist at Aedis Title from February 2018 to February 2019, and serving as a Registered Dietitian at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters from July 2000 to September 2002. Lori also held positions at the Virginia Department of Health as Senior Dietitian-WIC Site Manager and Senior Health Inspector from September 1996 to January 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Public Administration with an emphasis on Philanthropy and Nonprofit Organization from James Madison University (August 2021 - May 2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from San Diego State University (August 1995 - August 1996).
