Paul Pohto

Paul Pohto, Psy.D., LCP, is a psychologist and co-owner of Harrisonburg Assessment and Counseling, PLLC, and the principal owner of Bluestone Psychological Services, LLC, both located in Harrisonburg. With extensive experience spanning various roles, including staff psychologist and group coordinator at James Madison University, Paul has previously completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of South Florida and served as a doctoral psychology intern at North Carolina State University. Paul has provided psychodiagnostic assessments, individual psychotherapy, and executive functioning coaching in diverse settings, including community health centers and educational institutions. Paul earned a Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology from Radford University and holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from the University of Mississippi, complemented by a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University.
