Shane Slater

Shane joined the Design-Build team in 2016, working with project directors on all phases of projects from preliminary site inventory and budget recommendations to final detailed proposals and construction permitting. He also contributes to the team through site supervision and job costing analysis to help ensure projects are well-executed and profitable. Shane is proud to be part of a group of creative professionals that exemplify an expertise in client-centered landscape design, craftsmanship, and management.

Upon receiving his BLA degree from Ball State University, he worked in Indianapolis building his residential design-build and horticultural knowledge. Currently, he is working through the Illinois licensure process to become a registered Landscape Architect. In his free time, Shane and his wife Kelsee indulge in many forms of entertainment from exploring parks, restaurants or museums to enjoying music, streaming-services, video games, and their pitbull.
