Liz Barr

Liz Barr, PLA, ASLA, is an accomplished landscape architect and urban designer with a diverse professional background spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Landscape Architect and Urban Designer at RTD since October 2023, Liz previously held positions at Lifescape Colorado, Desire Path Co (as Owner and Landscape Architect), and Dig Studio, Inc. Liz has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver and a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Liz's experience includes landscape design roles at notable firms such as OLIN, Design Workshop, and Hoerr Schaudt Landscape Architects, along with design responsibilities at the Susan Fredman Design Group. Liz's educational background comprises a Master of Landscape Architecture with a focus on Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Clemson University, complemented by a minor in Horticulture.
