Sherby Blakeney serves as a Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator at Gentiva Hospice and Regency SouthernCare, while also fulfilling the role of Lead Clinical Case Manager at the Center for Transforming Lives. With extensive experience in children and family services as a Rapid Rehousing Case Manager at CENTER FOR TRANSFORMING COMMUNITIES INC, Sherby has been actively involved in social work education at The University of Texas at Arlington since August 2017. As the Founder and CEO of Grace n Mercy Ministry, and a Co-Facilitator at James River Church, Sherby teaches classes addressing life-controlling issues. Additionally, Sherby has been an Owner at L & S Insurance Agency since 1999 and held a position as Senior Service Specialist at Chase from 2010 to 2014. Education includes a Master of Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Human Services from Evangel University, along with studies in Human Services at Winthrop University.
