Carmen Day has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Carmen is currently the Vice President of Sales & Experience at JAM Sports Powered by Sport & Social Group. Prior to this, they held various leadership positions at Woodbine Entertainment, including Vice President of Sales | Events | Guest Experience and Vice President of Guest Experience. Carmen also worked as the Director of Guest Experience at the Toronto Blue Jays. Earlier in their career, Carmen worked as a Marketing Associate at Sysco Edmonton and held managerial roles at the Edmonton Oilers Hockey Club. Carmen started their career as a teacher, working at both the St Albert Public School District No. 5565 and the Foothills School Division, where they taught various subjects and coached sports teams.
Carmen Day has a strong educational background in physical education and special education. In 1995-1996, they pursued a BED degree at the University of Alberta, specializing in Physical Education and Special Education. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1994, Carmen studied at the University of Alberta and obtained a BPE degree in Adapted PE. In 1991-1992, they attended MacEwan University, where they also earned a BPE degree in Adapted PE.
