Nurissa McWilliam, CHRP, CHRL has a diverse work experience. Since 2013, they have worked at JAM, starting as a League Administrator and Evening League Facilitator. Nurissa McWilliam has a strong educational background in human resources management and kinesiology and physical education. In 2006, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University. Following that, in 2012, they completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Sport and Event Marketing from George Brown College. Most recently, from 2017 to 2018, Nurissa pursued further education in Human Resources Management at McMaster University Continuing Education.

In terms of additional certifications, Nurissa obtained the CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation from the HRPA (Human Resources Professionals Association) in June 2019. Additionally, they obtained the CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader) designation from the same institution in February 2023.
