Bill VanDeWeghe is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mediation, arbitration, and executive leadership. Currently serving as a Mediator/Arbitrator at JAMS since September 2024, Bill previously held roles as a Mediator at VanDeWeghe Dispute Resolution Services and as the Chief Executive Officer of Copia Scientific, where Bill led a major merger and expansion in the life science sector. Previously, Bill served as President & CEO of BioSurplus, a prominent provider of pre-owned scientific instruments, and co-founded RippleNami, Inc., aimed at revolutionizing data visualization. Bill's financial acumen was exemplified during tenure as Managing Director at RA Capital Advisors. Bill's legal expertise includes being a Senior Strategic Advisor at McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP and holding a board position at LRAD Corporation. Bill's foundational experience includes litigation at Klinedinst PC and military service as a Field Artillery Officer in the US Army. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School, complemented by certification in mediation from Align Mediation.
