Edith R. Matthai

Edith R. Matthai currently serves as a Mediator, Arbitrator, Special Master/Referee, and Neutral Evaluator at JAMS since September 2023. Prior to this role, Matthai held the position of President at Robie & Mathai, APC from 1987 to 2023. Previous experience includes serving as a Partner at Breidenbach, Swainston, Yokaitis & Crispo between 1978 and 1986, and as an Attorney at Cummins, White & Breidenbach from 1976 to 1978, as well as at the Law Offices of Robert Lieff from 1975 to 1976. Matthai earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
