Judge Russell Lloyd has a distinguished legal career spanning over four decades. Currently serving as a mediator and arbitrator at JAMS since January 2020, Russell Lloyd previously held the position of Justice on the First Court of Appeals in Texas from January 2015 to December 2020. Prior to that, responsibilities included operating as a Certified Mediator and Arbitrator at The Lloyd Law Firm for one year and serving as a Business Litigation and Appellate Attorney at The O'Quinn Law Firm from 1998 to 2013. Russell Lloyd was also a Judge at the 334th Civil District Court in Houston for a decade and received a federal judge nomination by President George H.W. Bush in 1992. Additional experience includes working as a Trial and Appellate Attorney at Brown, Sims, Wise and White and serving as an Assistant District Attorney in the Harris County District Attorney's Office. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Houston.
