Peter Kamminga

Peter Kamminga is a strategic negotiation and contracting expert currently serving at VGC since November 2022. As a mediator and arbitrator at JAMS since April 2020, Peter resolves complex, high-stakes disputes in the USA and Europe. Through Kamminga Mediation, established in 2005, Peter has mediated and arbitrated intricate business disputes involving Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. In academia, Peter has held positions as an Associate Professor at VU University Amsterdam and as affiliated faculty at Harvard Law School since 2011, focusing on negotiation, contractual relations, and dispute resolution. Additionally, Peter co-founded the Global Infrastructure Institute in 2014 to research sustainable infrastructure challenges. Educational qualifications include advanced degrees from Harvard Law School, Columbia Law School, and Tilburg University, among others.
