Germen Geertsma

Germen Geertsma has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as a 1st Engineer at Jan De Nul Group since August 2016, following a role as a 2nd Engineer on the FPV "Simon Steven." Prior experience includes positions as a 2nd and 3rd Engineer at Wagenborg Shipping BV from September 2011 to August 2016, along with early roles as an Apprentice at the same company in 2005 and 2008. Germen holds a Bachelor of Maritime Operations from the Maritime Institute Willem Barentsz, completed in 2011, and a degree as a Maritime Officer from Zeevaartschool Abel Tasman, obtained in 2008.
