Prabhat Kumar

Prabhat Kumar has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as an Engineer Intern at ONGC. In 2011, they worked as a Summer Intern at Husk Power Systems. From 2012 to 2014, they served as an Analyst in the Fixed Income Market at Futures First Info. Services Pvt. Ltd. Following that, they joined Ernst & Young in 2014 and worked as an Associate, where they undertook various feasibility studies and project developments in the Transaction Advisory Services department. In 2020, they joined Janaagraha as a Manager in Municipal Finance and Advocacy & Reforms. Prabhat was promoted to Senior Manager in 2021 and further promoted to Head of Public Finance Management in 2023. In this role, they lead a team working on policy reforms and the implementation of digital public finance tools to improve outcomes in city and state governments.

Prabhat Kumar completed their education in a chronological order. From 2004 to 2006, they attended Science College, Patna, where they earned an Intermediate in Science degree. Following this, from 2007 to 2012, they pursued their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical/Process Engineering and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
