K V Kuganathan is a seasoned Business, Digital & IT Strategist for Financial sector. He has over 23 years of experience, including stints in the Banking industry, including National Development Bank PLC where he headed Digital & IT Strategy. Further he initiated and led the E Banking division at Hatton National Bank PLC.

Kugan is known for his innovative, creative and results-oriented leadership in building, transforming financial models into digital businesses with acute finance.

Kugan holds a distinction in his MSc in IT Consultancy as well as a Bachelors degree in Computing and Information Systems. He has served as a judge for the NBQSA ICT Awards & Asia Pacific ICT Awards since 2011 is an experienced speaker at many International conferences on the subject of Channel Optimization. He currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for UPAY.
