Nick Stride

Nick Stride is an experienced Data Engineer currently serving at Jane Street since July 2024. Prior to this role, Nick held various positions including Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer at Cable from September 2021 to July 2024, and worked at G-Research as a Detection & Response Engineer and Security Data Engineer from February 2019 to September 2021. Earlier experience includes a Partnerships Engineer role at Verisart in late 2018, a Quality Control Engineering Placement at Rolls-Royce for a brief period in 2017, and a Software Engineer at HTI Labs in the summer of 2017. Nick began a career as a Technical Director at Varsity Trip from February 2016 to January 2017 and had an earlier stint as a Junior Consultant at HTI Labs in summer 2015. Educational achievements include a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2018, and A-levels, AS-levels, FSMQ, and GCSEs in Mathematics from St Albans School, attended from 2007 to 2014.
