Yunping Wang

Yunping Wang is a software engineer currently working at Jane Street since June 2021. Prior experience includes a role at LinkedIn from February 2020 to June 2021, where Yunping created a new access control system for the company's distributed big data storage infrastructure. Prior to LinkedIn, Yunping worked at Amazon from August 2017 to February 2020 as a backend engineer focused on AWS’s natural language processing service, building tools and infrastructure to enhance experimentation and model deployment. Yunping's career began as a trading intern at IMC Financial Markets in the summer of 2016, analyzing crude oil option data using Matlab. Yunping holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Northwestern University, completed in 2017, and a high school diploma from Choate Rosemary Hall, awarded in 2013.
