Jarred Humphrey

Jarred Humphrey has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development roles, spanning several companies. Jarred is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at Jane Technologies, Inc. starting from 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Better.com from 2021 to 2022.

Before their time at Better.com, Jarred worked at Accenture as a Software Engineering Manager (Adaptly) from 2020 to 2021 and as a Software Engineering Associate Manager (Adaptly) from 2019 to 2020. During their tenure at Accenture, they played a crucial role in guiding the engineering team through the acquisition of Adaptly, focusing on integration and complying with Accenture processes. Jarred also led two product teams and was responsible for backend architectural decisions and managing 3rd party integration breaking changes.

Prior to Accenture, Jarred worked at Adaptly for several years, from 2013 to 2019. Jarred held the positions of Lead Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer during their time there. As a Lead Software Engineer, they led a team of six engineers in a major backend architecture rewrite and was responsible for all architectural design decisions. Jarred also worked extensively on integrating with multiple 3rd party APIs, implementing distributed solutions, and developing product features for the front end application.

Before joining Adaptly, Jarred worked as a Software Developer at Groove National Dance Competition from 2011 to 2016, where they built an event scoring and video capture system and a web-based registration system. Jarred also worked as a Web Developer at MemoryAlbum from 2013 to 2014 and as a Full-stack Developer at Brooklyn Atlantis from 2012 to 2014, where they were involved in UI redesign and back-end code optimization.

Jarred Humphrey pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Engineering from 2009 to 2013 at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering.
