Alexis Campailla

Alexis Campailla has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles.

In 2023, they co-founded BigFilter.ai and remain in that role. Prior to this, they were the Chairman of Janea Systems since June 2023 and the Founder & CEO from 2003 until June 2023.

From 2018 to 2023, Alexis served as the CEO of Memurai. They were also a Technical Steering Committee Member at the Node.js Foundation from 2015 to 2016.

In terms of their work at Microsoft, Alexis worked as a Consultant and SDE 4 in various periods. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Consultant at Microsoft Open Technologies, responsible for maintaining Node.js and Redis on Windows. They were on the Core Team Member at Node.js from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, they were a Consultant and SDE 4 at Microsoft from 2012 to 2012 and developed features for the Zune.net website from 2008 to 2010.

Alexis also has experience as a Co-founder and CTO at Wishpot from 2006 to 2009. Additionally, at Microsoft, they worked as a Consultant and SDE 4, contributing to the v2.0 of the .NET Common Language Runtime from 2003 to 2005.

Alexis Campailla obtained the degree of Laurea in Software Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, where they studied from 1993 to 1998.
