Juan Pablo Soto Soto

Juan Pablo Soto Soto has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Juan Pablo is currently working as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at The Lifetime Value Co. since January 2021.

Prior to this, Juan worked at Janeiro Digital from August 2015 to the present, initially as a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer and later as a Java Software Engineer from June 2018 to December 2020. As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer, they were involved in various tasks such as test-driven development, AWS server configuration, database design and implementation using MySQL, and database query optimization. Juan Pablo also contributed to the migration of a Rails application. As a Java Software Engineer, Juan was involved in undisclosed projects.

Before joining Janeiro Digital, Juan worked at Growth Acceleration Partners as a Ruby on Rails Developer from April 2013 to August 2015. Here, they fixed critical bugs related to pharmaceutical websites and created reports on health plans and drugs. Juan Pablo also designed and maintained unit tests.

Juan started their career as a Support Analyst at Software FX, Inc. from October 2011 to April 2013. Juan Pablo then had an internship as a Systems Engineer at Precision Concepts Costa Rica from May 2011 to August 2011, where they developed an internal tool using Java to monitor shipments and inventory items.

Overall, Juan Pablo Soto Soto has demonstrated expertise in full-stack development, Ruby on Rails, Java software engineering, test-driven development, AWS servers configuration, and database design and optimization.

Juan Pablo Soto Soto pursued their education at the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. Juan Pablo first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, studying from 2007 to 2010. After completing their Bachelor's degree, they further pursued a Licentiate degree in Systems Engineering from 2010 to 2011 at the same university.
