Harry Kemsley Obe

Harry Kemsley OBE serves as President of Government & National Security at Janes since January 2015, with previous roles as Global VP for National Security and Government, Jane's Alliance & Partnerships, and EMEA VP for both National Security and Aerospace, Defence & Security. Prior to Janes, Harry Kemsley held multiple leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard from November 2011 to January 2015, including Managing Director for EMEA Defence & Secure Government Practice, where strategic business integration and market growth initiatives were developed. Earlier experience includes a significant tenure at the UK Ministry of Defence from 1988 to 2011, culminating as Deputy Head of UK MoD Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) Capability, overseeing a £2bn acquisition budget and achieving notable cost savings. Educational background includes a Military MSc in Military and Strategic Leadership from Escuela Superior de Las Fuerzas Armadas in 2003 and a degree in Economic & Psychology from The University of Manchester, completed in 1985.
